The 2016 It has been fruitful and intense for Lisandro Fiks, with the addition of having been nominated for the María Guerrero Award for Best Author, for the work 25 Millions of Argentines, one of the great spectacles of the year was carried out at the theater OPAL.

Now, the 2017 seems to arrive the same way, with several projects that the actor himself, playwright and musician told La Vereda.

"The 31 we will have a very special toast, because the birth of my son took place”, tells before getting into Mala Praxis, show that will take him to Madrid in mid-January with Juan Luppi and Romina Fernándes.

“It has been a great year, many things happened and good results, Beyond that the theater is suffering a lot of problems. The satisfaction of carrying out your own project and being able to work, plus the fact of being able to enter another project like El Avaro in the middle of the year”, express.

How did the possibility of bringing Mala Praxis to Spain come about??

There was the possibility of taking this to Madrid after writing the work and showing it to a friend like Juan Luppi.. That's where the project began to be put together..

Then the possibility of going to Spain with him and Romina Fernándes arose and everything was put together to release it directly there., as also happened with 1982 Solemn opening, show we also did last year. Let's see how the work works there and surely, after the premiere in Madrid, we will bring it to Argentina.

What is the plot of the work?

It is the story of a lawyer who is dedicated to destroying doctors for malpractice, although his motivation to do so is what we will see within the work. A hidden interest will be seen in why he does what he does in order to get registrations.

Later he will meet another doctor who will come to defend himself, showing a reality that the lawyer could not or did not want to see.

What does it mean to set up a project like this in another country??

It is a huge enjoyment because many times and with different projects I was in Spain and it is a beautiful place to show and do things.. This takes time and work to carry out., with all the difficulties that entails. But it's a pleasure, What is it like to tour the interior?, because perhaps one is very used to working here and it is like opening horizons and meeting other audiences., beyond the effort that it is as it is an independent production.

Fiks obtained the nomination for the María Guerrero award for what the phenomenon meant 25 Millions of Argentines, a show that remained on the billboard for several months at the El Ópalo theater and that even had to add dates for its farewell.

“25 Million Argentinos was a project that was carried out with great strength and much sacrifice throughout the year. 2016 and the results were incredible, from both the public and critics. I understand that it was one of the most watched shows and it worked very well, so we hope it continues in the same way when we do the re-release, the 18 of March".

Another of the shows in which Fiks will be involved will be El Avaro, whose premiere is scheduled for 15 July at the Teatro Regio, directed by Corina Fiorillo and performed by Antonio Grimau, Nelson Rueda, Iride Mockert, Julian Pucheta, Silvina Bosco, Maia France, Nacho Vavassori, Marcelo Mazzarello, Martin Portela, Mercedes Torre and Hernán Lewkowicz.
