This Thursday 16 and the 20 August the third edition of the Estesur Teatral festival will take place, the meeting of theater artists from the south of the Buenos Aires suburbs.

In this edition, there will be six casts that will participate in the different rooms located in Berazategui, Quilmes and Avellaneda. as a novelty, a work appears from Vicente López's party.

Precisely the work "The painting" - from the 20, after the presentation of all the casts- will be in charge of opening the festival, this Thursday at the Lynch Cultural Center (Energetic 5701).

The show, featuring the performances of Yili Di Lauro, Pablo Kusnetzoff, Patricio Muñoz and Nicolás Verdier, under the direction of Gastón Zambón, tells the story of four characters who find themselves locked in an eccentric world, where they face the impossibility of realizing their ambitions.

After the three days of performances, Monday 20 the disassembly day will be held, plenary and awarding of the casts, starting at 14 and in Sarandiarte (jump 63 de Sarandi). Regarding the latter, the works will be evaluated by a jury made up of Laura Zerba (actress and teacher at the Quilmes School of Fine Arts); Gustavo Roca (scenographer, producer and administrator of the Maipú Theater in Banfield) and Ricardo Talento (playwright and director). Who will be in charge of the disassembly will be Carlos Fos (will analyze all the shows presented, to promote collective reflection on the creative processes involved, in order to know the procedures and aesthetic options used in each show).

Meanwhile, The outstanding artist from Quilmeño Tito Ingenieri has been in charge of designing the prizes that will be delivered in this edition of the festival.

On Friday 17, starting at 20 and also at the Lynch Cultural Center the quilmeño show "Marcela" will be presented, directed by Alejandro Casagrande and starring Jorge Graffigna and Rosana Gallo.

This work is based on real events and is located in the ’50s, where a Jewish couple will discover that they are united by something more than the family tradition and the business they knew how to build together.

While, from 22 will be presented "Moreno de verde luna", from Avellaneda and directed by Martín Casalongue.

Headed by Patricia Casalvieri, Humberto Lio, Marita Ruchti, Martín Casalongue, Mónica Besada, Nayla noya, Daniela Dursi, Cinthia Noel, Veronica Paiva, Maria Fernanda Dominguez, Carlos Torreiro, Laura Ghergo, Adriana Flores and Franco Bustamante, this work is a tribute to Federico García Lorca, with bailaora and live musicians.

“Niño de agua” is the Quilmeña play directed by Gonzalo Camiletti that will be presented on Saturday 18 (17:30) at the Indigo Theater of 144 1536, in Berazategui.

Tell the story of three women, performed by Silvina Sastre, Carolina Schworer y Victoria Presson. They are called "The thirst" and come to a town devastating with the words, relationships and connection with nature.

from 20 and on the same stage will be "As simple as dreaming it slowly", work from Avellaneda and directed by Julia Muzio.

Starring Romina Mónaco -who is also the author of the play-, tells the story of a woman who decides to leave to start her life over from scratch.

Another venue for the festival is the Teatro Polaridades de Quilmes, located on Andrés Baranda 842, where the local work "La casa de Bernarda Alba" will be presented, on Sunday 19 to 20.

Created by Federico García Lorca, this story directed by Veronica Cometto (who also acts alongside Marisa Barrios, Sandra Barrios, Veronica Torres, Rocío González and Stella Victoria), tells the life of five women who live under the same roof and have no contact with the outside world.

Finally, from 22, the works of this festival will conclude with the presentation of "The accompaniment", Directed by Héctor Ramón Mansilla and arriving from Avellaneda.

Mansilla stars alongside Jorge Gutiérrez in this story of a man who is about to receive his retirement and is tempted with the dream of fame as a singer.
