From this Saturday 14 from January, at the Museum of Humor (Muhu) will begin a new sample where they will honor the 100 years of cartoons and graphic novels in the country.

The event will take place from the 17 hours in the building Munich, located on the Avenida de los Italianos 851 the Costanera Sur. In this framework, a historical tour of the so-called serious or author cartoon will be carried out..

Within this route, important artists of the stature of Alberto Breccia will parade, Joseph Louis Salinas, Paul Pereira, José Muñoz, Oswald, Leopoldo Durañona, Tulio Lovato, Carlos Roume, Lucho Olivera, Pascual Guida, Ernesto Garcia, Gisela Dexter, Julio Schiaffino, Chingolo Casalla, Carlos Vogt, Cristobal Arteche, Luis Scafati, Charles Nine, Francisco Solano Lopez and others.

There will also be a review of the work of screenwriters such as Héctor G. osterheld, Robin Wood and Carlos Trillo, to name a few big names.

Regarding the characters that will be seen in this exhibition, Ernie Pike will appear, Robin Hood, Lagash Nippur, The Lone Ranger, Alack Sinner, Rinkel el Ballenero, The Eternal, Rip Kirby, Mandrake the Magician, The logo, Tee Howard, Cisco Kid, Roy Rogers, Bull Rockett, Unprofessional, Cape Salinas and Ticonderoga. Featured characters who went through magazines like El Tony, Patoruzito, Zero hour, D´artagnan, Red Ray, strong fist, Fancy, Scorpio, Tit-Bits and Interval, among other.

The exhibition will also have a sector with illustration works, made by cartoonists who also tackled the language of comics, like the works done for the Robin Hood Collection.

Comics from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries will also have a place, as Sarrasqueta by Manuel Redondo, considered the first Argentine cartoon, published in the magazine Caras y Caretas.

This exhibition can be seen until 20 March from Monday to Friday from 11 a 18 or on Saturdays and Sundays 10 a 20 and holidays of 12 a 20 hours. The price of tickets is ten pesos from Thursday to Sunday and also on holidays., while Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday access is free and free. It added that minors 14 years do not pay entrance any of the days.
