This Sunday 17 of July, starting at 20.30, Elina Alba in the living recognition will be given to outstanding artists mendocinos committed to our folklore.

In commemoration of the Tonada, the 18 July and in tribute to poet Juan Gualberto Godoy Mendoza, the Ministry of Culture and the Honorable Senate of the Province delivered a cultural recognition of the minstrels of Music, Canto and Dissemination of Folklore de Cuyo.

This initiative is from 1979, through the resolution of Culture and Education of the Mendoza Province and proposed by the Institute for Research and Dissemination of Folklore Cuyano, who presided over the teacher Alberto Rodríguez.

Artists who receive this award this year are: Elizabeth Pollarolo, Guaymallén; Mabel Quiroga, Rivadavia; Ana Lacraux, Las Heras; Tank Brothers, Tunuyan; The Alvear, General Alvear and Leguizamón Brothers, Godoy Cruz. So will Guillermo González, Malargüe; Latino Guitars, Guaymallén and folk program broadcast Cuyo the trails of the Fatherland, Mendoza National Radio.

Activity, organized by the Cultural Center of Folklore and Disclosure of Cuyo “HUAYRA Cuyum”, It will be in the room located at the junction of Spain and Gutierrez City, and general admission cost 80 pesos.
