Although the news about the new AC/DC album appears in dribs and drabs, It turned out that the rhythm guitar tracks on the new album will be those that Malcolm Young recorded before the release of Black Ice (2008), until now last album of the Australian band.

The news was reported by Jam Magazine, medium that assures that these tracks were registered five years before the release of the plate, time when Angus and Malcolm Young lived together and recorded several songs. It is worth remembering that Malcolm, died on 18 November 2017.

The same medium details according to a source close to the band that Angus has chosen some of those songs that will be improved and re-recorded in the studio with bassist Cliff Williams., drummer Phil Rudd and singer Brian Johnson, all the historical members of one of the most important groups in the history of rock and roll.

On the other hand, This source assures that the meeting of the rhythmic base made up of Williams and Rudd was achieved with the express request that the voices of the new album be recorded by Brian Johnson and not by Axl Rose, as was being speculated.

However, Is it possible that from now on the story of the original AC/DC (plus the addition of Stevie Young on rhythm guitar) continue with a tour? Everything will depend on the improvement in the hearing problem suffered by Brian Johnson, reason that forced him to leave the stage and be replaced by the lead singer of Guns n' Roses.
