Jason Becker anticipates his record return with a new song

Before presenting what will be his new studio album, the real story is in your life and the desire to overcome before such a difficult situation like that comes through since he first confronted with his illness, in early '90.

Jason Becker at the time was one of the virtuosos of the guitar, Marty Friedman band sharing, en Cacophony, and becoming part of the group Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth, with whom he recorded the album "A little ain't enough".

Just at the time he was recording that album (and in the ascent with his career), Becker was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease, which directly affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.

The disease attacked both musician, who definitely was confined, with the ability to communicate only by moving his eyes and a computer.

Following this, doctors gave him a life expectancy of no more than five years, however Jason Becker continued to battle, with music as standard and becoming a true example of life.

This Thursday 15 November and through their social networks, guitarist introduced the first song, titulada “Hold on to love”, which will be part of the album that will be released during the first days of December and will be named "Triumphants hearts" (triumphant hearts).

The disc will be part of other great guitarists and friends as Steve Vai Becker, Joe Satriani y Paul Gilbert (who recently visited Argentina), among others. The peculiarity is that Becker wrote the songs looking at the guitar fretboard.

Regarding the new song, He has the voice and guitar of Codany Holiday and is only guitarist Daniele Gottardo. The subject is presented with a video clip showing in principle the image of Beker, as well as images of his whole life and are part of the footage from the documentary "Not dead yet" (Not dead yet).

The musician himself said that originally the song "would be instrumental, but after writing the chorus with lyrics, I knew I had to tell my story, of explaining how I could continue to live without feelings of hatred ". The guitarist also said that "had not written many songs before".

Total, the disc will 14 songs that come thanks to the deep knowledge of the artist on the classical music composition and orchestral arrangements. Other guitarists who will be part of the album will be Neal Schon, Steve Morse, Uli Jon Roth, Guthrie Govan, y Joe Bonamassa. There will also be played by Becker passages, that they were recorded between '80 and '90.
