With a party that will include performances by Los Tipitos and Estelares, this Sunday from 14, the inauguration of the museum dedicated to Leonardo Favio will take place in the city of Avellaneda.

This initiative was carried out thanks to the donation by the children of the unforgettable Argentine furniture director and musician, library, unpublished writings, film cuts and film costumes that were in the office that Favio owned in the town of Adrogué.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Avellaneda, Jorge Ferraresi, He explained that the museum will be a recreation of the artist's last office, with the installation of his library and the exhibition of the costumes used in his films. further, various activities are expected to be enjoyed by those present.

The new museum will be located within the scope of the municipal building of Avellaneda (12 October 463), more precisely, where the District Public Radio works, the recording studios and the offices of the Audiovisual Coordination of the General Directorate of Communication and Press.

In addition to Los Tipitos and Estelares, will be part of the day Nico Favio and his band, Mamabirra and the César Pavón Orchestra. Natalia Pelayo and Alejandra Baldoni and Margarita Fernández will also dance (National Folkloric Ballet).

On the other hand, Luis Maria Serra will appear, who was in charge of making the musical composition of the film Juan Moreira; Pablo Ramos and Pilin Mases, Aniceto's musical composer.

The schedule of activities is as follows:

14 – Opening

14.20 – Presentation of Luis María Serra and Pocho Leyes, movie speakers “Juan Moreira”, together with the Municipal Croo and Margarita Fernandez (director of the national folkloric ballet)

15 – Pilin Massei together with a trio of guitars will perform songs by Favio. Then Nico Favio joins (leonardo's son) and his band.
