Tribute to Lohana Berkins at the Library of Congress

The Cultural Space of the Library of Congress of the Nation, in conjunction with the Gender and Sexual Diversity Program of the Public Ministry of Defense of the City, present the group show in tribute to Lohana Berkins: It is not the same. No equal.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Monday 13 February at 18.30 hours and will be attended by the President of the Administrative Commission of the Library of Congress, National Deputy María Teresa García and members of various gender organizations.

One year after his death, The Library of Congress of the Nation pays tribute to the activist who promoted the Gender Identity Law, becoming a benchmark in the fight against discrimination and equality.

The exhibition is composed of the reflections of referents on the subject and the catalog has the contribution of the writer María Moreno and the journalist Liliana Viola.
