Within the framework of 39 Independent Film and Video Conference –UNCIPAR- that were carried out in the seaside resort of Pinamar, the Argentine Association of Cinematographic Chroniclers released the list of the five short films nominated for the Silver Condor Awards.

These five selections will be part of the edition number 65 of the traditional award and were chosen among 24 winning works of the different national festivals that were throughout 2016.

The five short films that will compete for the Silver Condor will be: No beasts, by Agustina San Martín (18 BAFICI); Error 404, de Mariana Wainstein (MAFICI); Happy days, by Agustina Guala (National Film Competition & Independent Video of Cipolletti); The Arachnids, by Tom Espinoza (Soria Week in Buenos Aires), and The beginning of Fabrizio, by Mariano Biasin (Short Tandil).

The delivery of the Silver Condor awards to Argentine cinema will take place on 12 Kirchner June at the Cultural Center.
