Singer-songwriter will be presented Lorena Astudillo 10 Kirchner June at the Cultural Center, which will take the stage songs Gustavo Cuchi Leguizamón teacher, but in format camera.

In that sense, and under the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Leguizamón, La Vereda interviewed the interpreter, who said that the balance after editing the new material is "extremely positive" adding: "I find it hard to assess because the disk is recently 'given birth' and I'm seeing it as a child contemplated, with emotion, with love and acceptance, both mistakes and successes ".

according to Astudillo, also, "The balance is immensely positive for the tremendous learning that has left me to go all the way between the idea and the realization of this new album was a process of not less than two years of gestation".

How did the idea for this project camera?

Born of my deep love for the work of Cuchi Leguizamón and academic music and the desire to make them coalesce. It started as a symphonic project but no luck when it comes to summon orchestras. So, to achieve, I came format camera or small orchestra, formed by string quartet, piano, double bass, guitar and percussion.

I chose to Cuchi because for me it's the perfect work to merge both classical and Argentine folklore, enalteciéndose and nourished each other without losing the essence folk and popular; I appointed for this huge musician and arranger able to achieve this mixture is Patricio Villarejo.

You remember how he met the music of Cuchi?

When I had 6 O 7 years, listening to my father singing every evening with his guitar as he returned from his working days. There he taught me Zamba de Lozano, or Balderrama and was charmed my soul with so much beauty and so much desire for freedom which for me means that work.

What do you think is his greatest legacy to culture?

The beauty, The miscegenation, fusion of styles and confluence of genres. Cuchi definitely did evolve the Argentine folklore drawing and drawing on the influences of jazz and classical music without losing a drop of essence.

Cuchi used the same structures and turns of other genres when composing. Beyond this it can be a musical analysis treasures left us with the great classics that we lego ... I do not let the opportunity to sing as one voice its immense lyrics and melodies ...

What is the feeling of being the first female artist in homenajear?

continues to amaze, I keep wondering how were the happenstance of being the first female artist who devotes an entire disc to his work because that gesture came from an absolutely lonely process, introspection, besides being porteña ... but so are the mysteries of art. I am proud for electing him without anyone else to show me my soul. When I decided to do it counted with wonderful musicians who joined with me and created this album with all the talent in the world like Nora Sarmoria, Lilian Saba, Nuria Martinez and Samy Mielgo.

What are the expectations for the presentation at the CCK?

I hope we sound very well, which together with the orchestra make a beautiful presentation and people come celebrate this birth, while continuing to grow.

Beyond the variety of songs ... is there any more enjoyable to interpret?

I like and all are magnificent works to express through them. Have some preferred at certain times, but that is changing.

Which I now have more "embobada"Because recently I learned to drive and have that taste" new "are" Couplets of Tata God "and" Zamba Handkerchief ".

What are the projects for the future?

Cuchi take the camera to all the places you can and in terms of artistic production, embark on a new musical project that includes own songs and Latin American music.
