Against The Current, one of the world's pop rock sensation groups will arrive in the country for the first time, to give a recital this Tuesday 21 of August in The Roxy of Palermo.

Originally from New York, the group formed by vocalist Chrissy Costanza, the guitarist Dan Gow and the drummer Will Ferri have the particularity of having started their career uploading versions of renowned artists to the YouTube social network. This fact gave them worldwide fame..

in its beginnings, the group uploaded covers of Demi Lovato's "Heart Attack", “Chocolate” de The 1975, “Ain’t it fun” de Paramore y “She looks so perfect” de 5 Seconds of Summer, among others.

Later, the band was encouraged to compose their own songs, that would later be recorded on the EP "Infinity", of 2014.

Then the group was animated with their own compositions, those that materialized in the EP “Infinity” in 2014.

After the success of the album, the trio released the acoustic version the same year; Meanwhile in 2015 released the EP “Gravity”, with which they managed to attract the attention of the Fueled By Ramen label, that hosts artists like Paramore, One Ok Rock y Panic! At The Disco.

The Against the current recital in Argentina takes place within the framework of the “In our bones tour”, tour presentation of the group's first and so far only album, launched in 2016.
