Fabian Matus, the son of the great popular singer Mercedes Sosa, passed away at 60 years due to a number of health problems, according their relatives confirmed through social networks.

Since his hospitalization due to a heart attack that occurred in 2010, the cultural producer and musician went through various health complications. By way of recent, had returned home after being in the hospital for some months.

As a producer, he knew how to be by his mother's side and also represented other renowned artists, like Nito Mestre, Julia Zenko and Daniel Melero, among several others, and he also worked looking for new values ​​of the folklore. But nevertheless, His most significant task was to carry out the Mercedes Sosa Foundation, that treasures the legacy of the great national singer, died in 2009 to the 74 years.

While the Foundation, located on Humberto Primo 378 was going through financial difficulties, Matus never crossed his mind close it and for this year he planned to carry out a traveling exhibition through different colleges, in order to spread culture and folklore.

It was last seen in the framework of the traditional Cosquín festival, during a tribute to his mother in January.
